Anyone who begins the job search, regarddless of industry, knows that the search is a full time job in and of itself. It takes time to find companies that you want to work for, to adjust your resume and write cover letters, but most of all, to ensure you have the right skills to find a new, better, role.
Employers have increasingly large expectations when it comes to their potential employees. They expect you to come prepared with all the relevant expertise that one can only get by first by working at that company, or one very similar to it. This paradox is detrimental to both the employee and the employer. Qualified employees get overlooked because their resume doesn't contain the necessary keywords, and growing companies miss out on great candidates because they're too narrowly focused on a perfect fit.
LearnData sets out to change this paradigm, to the advantage of both the candidate and the hiring entity. Our aim is to provide enterprise grade tools and softwares to individuals in the job market, so that they can acquire hand on experience that would otherwise be impossible to get. This serves two goals; first it improves the overall skillset of all those in the market, and second, it provides a wider swath of qualified candidates for employers to select from.
Our initial target is within the Data space, where tools like Snowflake and Databricks are inaccessible to the public. By providing licenses and sample data, and instructors to teach the basic to advanced techniques, we hope to empower job seekers with skills they can't get anywhere else. We are eager to see the growth of our clients into data practitioners to data engineers through our exclusive classes. Sign up today and tell us what you what to learn!
